Re: How to check passwords

And the exact reason Dan states is why we have never, until now, forced
users to change their default passwords. Since many of our users are
Windows users they would be calling almost immediately saying they couldn't
get in. We do have a web app that allows them to change their passwords via
a browser on their machine but they don't seem to read that far on the
email.

We've decided that from now on, for security and HIPPA reasons, that users
will HAVE to change their password from the default no matter what. Since
most of our users are actually in our lab when they request an account it
just means we have to sit there and make them change it.

Thanks to everyone for the help and suggestions. We've already been able to
identify the "slackers" in the password department and are in the process of
getting them to change their passwords.
