Hello Server List,

Right now I am working on getting two servers up (both 10.4.3) and running, an Open Directory Server which also handles netboot AFP loads and an AFP file server that I hope to use for User Home directories eventually. I would very much like to set up some automated backup procedures on my servers, but I don't want to have to go through and use the manual backup feature via Server Admin.

My question is then: Where are these config files, preferences, etc located?

In addition, has anyone had luck with rebuilding a failed server afterwards by just replacing these files/directories on a new server build?

If you require more details please let me know, but I believe this is generic enough so not require more details.
