/usr/sbin/PasswordService: incorrect digest response

Anyone know what the following system.log error means. I see this error often a newly created OD server running on 10.4.2.

Also, LDAP seems to be working fine and I can create or modify users and my clients can login just fine however, when I run LDAP commands such as ldapwhoami i get the following:

xserve1:~ admin$ ldapwhoami

SASL/GSSAPI authentication started

ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Local error (-2)

additional info: SASL(-1): generic failure: GSSAPI Error: Miscellaneous failure (No credentials cache found)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
