It founds no credential to authenticate through LDAP using GSSAPI (Kerberos)

Try using simple authentication like :

ldapwhoami -x

Or

ldapwhoami  -D "uid=shortname,cn=users,dc=example,dc=com" -W

Replace example and com for example.com domain with your domain’s settings

If you want it with kerberos authentication, get a ticket first like :

mail:~ shortname$ kinit
Please enter the password for email@hidden:
mail:~ shortname$ ldapwhoami
SASL/GSSAPI authentication started
SASL username: email@hidden
SASL SSF: 56
SASL installing layers
dn:uid=shortname,cn=users,dc= example,dc=com

Also, LDAP seems to be working fine and I can create or modify users and my clients can login just fine however, when I run LDAP commands such as ldapwhoami i get the following:

xserve1:~ admin$ ldapwhoami
SASL/GSSAPI authentication started
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Local error (-2)
        additional info: SASL(-1): generic failure: GSSAPI Error: Miscellaneous failure (No credentials cache found)


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
