AWStats is pretty decent I have never used it on OSX though only on FreeBSD
Servers. Webalizer is also good and probably more secure. There have been a
number of security exploits for AWStats.

Both are pretty easy to setup, but I would say that AWStats gives better
reporting. Although there is probably more involved in setting up AWStats
its something that you have to 1000+ times once per vhost.
But once its up it just runs all you have to do is add a 1000+ cron
jobs..... One for each vhost. But Webalizer is about the same for setups.

There is nothing that I know of that is dynamic and will just find vhosts
and their log files.
