1) Turn on Directory Services debugging (Thanks goes to Michael Bartosh for
this, his O'Reilly book on Panther server is something you should go get)
via:
sudo killall -USR1 DirectoryService
In the terminal application. Don't forget later on, to issue that command
again to shut off the debugging output.
Then look in
/Library/Logs/DirectoryService/DirectoryService.debug.log
That should hopefully provide something to work with/from.
2) MS Office wants write access to a folder named "Temporary Items"
(obviously, without the quotation-marks), that needs to be at the root of
the sharepoint in question. Try setting that folder to read&write access for
the group. (This info comes from others on the list).
