Since we have upgraded our master server XServe to Tiger (a few
months ago), our server for time to time stops working for about 3
hours, followed be a restart. It sometimes happens in the morning,
sometimes during the day. The server can be working for days without
restarting.
The only thing I can find in the log files is in netinfo.log:
Nov 23 12:14:00 cluster loopupd[117]: NetInfo connection failed for
server 127.0.0.1/local
Nov 23 12:14:00 cluster loopupd[117]: ni_statistics: communication
failure
Then it takes about 3 hours when the server restart.
What is the best action I can take?
I have moved Macintosh Manager to another server so I can do a clean
install of Tiger insteed of an upgrade from Panther. But all my mail
and users are on that server an I can't afford of losing that (about
150 mail-users) and 1000 users with their password.
I have tried to make a replicate to move all my users, but that failed.
Thanks for helping,
