Workgroup Manager

hello,

I am having a problem with Work Group Manager. I have about 1800 accounts on a XServe G5 running Tiger server and using Netinfo for authentication. The server basically houses weblogs and web pages for the accounts. When I create new users now it starts with a negative number and if not carefully changed will not allow the create homedir to work properly and basically makes the user invisible without going to inspection mode.

Is this a Netinfo bug, limitation?

Without having any Macs serving up home dir via profiles or setting desktop settings I had no real need to scale beyond this server (the web content is house on an attached xraid)... so the need for Open Dir for scalability was ruled out in the beginning.

Thanks,

Matt Chapman
