Re: Proxy Server

I concur, I use Squid + Dansguardian and love it.

It doesn't require OS X Server, in fact, I run it on my kid's home computer too.
I also find the use of squid for caching to be VERY VERY helpful (especially with OS updates, both OS's).

I would like to know what kind of Proxy Server is recommended for a
Macintosh network. We are currently using a OS X 10.2 server for Proxy
Service but would like to use something else. What does everyone
recommend?

We use Squid + DansGuardian (www.dansguardian.org) for web cache filtering. Works pretty well.
