Add or
change DNS entries setup mailing lists. Add or change databases all by
themselves with out you having to do it for them.
If they're going to do all that, why should they be paying you
anything at all ?
You're not providing any service for them, you just own the box and
networking
hardware. You've just cut your revenue by two thirds.
Also, are you really proposing that clients (who know nothing) should
be allowed
free reign over DNS ?
With
some control panels they can even sign themselves up with their
Credit Card
number and pick what package is good for them a guy might only want
a $10 a
month account another might need databases 100 mail addresses, 5
mailing
lists a forum or 2 and one or 2 other things he can do all that
himself
using a different package.
That sort of customer doesn't need a box at all. All they need is a
mailing
account with a big ISP. Again, you've done yourself out of a customer.
