Try check_xserve_raid from
ftp://noc.hep.wisc.edu/pub/src/xserve-raid-tools/xserve-raid-tools-1.2rc1/
(It's untested, but I'm fairly sure it'll work. If it fails, drop me a line along with attachments that have -d and -d -d output.)
