Forced User Settings

Hi,

I'm trying to use workgroup manager to control the settings for our student users and have a couple of questions which I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with.

I'm using 10.4.2 server and clients.

1) I want to be able to stop users browsing the 'Network' and seeing the home shares of other users. I've changed the privileges to 770 so that they can't see into other users, but to stop them seeing them all-together.
I tried creating a 'Managed Network', however by removing the home shares, I in effect stopped them from being able to log on, so didn't quite manage what I wanted.

2) Does anyone know what preference file stores the 'International' settings in. I have set our machines up to use 'New Zealand' as the formatting under 'International'
However, this setting isn't retained and the default 'US' is used for all users. This is annoying as the date format is wrong by default.
I have found the preference file to force the paper size to 'A4' instead of letter and have added this to the advanced preferences, but can't find which preference I need to set to force the 'International' settings.

please cc replies directly.

thanks
