the archives but didn't find anything. ]
In Server 10.4 neither Workgroup Manager nor dsimport lets you
import users who have the same real name as an existing user.
I could understand it if cn was part of the dn, which it isn't
(and which would be a really bad way to set up a large ldap server
if you want the dn-s to remain kind if static and/or have
understood that two persons actually can have the same name).
Is there any way to turn this limitation off?
How do you people out there handle the case when two persons
have the same name?
(I have filed a bug report since this behavior is just plain
crazy and must be some effect of and accidental reality
distortion. :-)
