User-agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.2 (Windows/20050317)
Well it also happens in phpmyadmin, but not *nearly* as bad. The
response time is about half on the phpmyadmin app. The problem also goes
away after a fresh reboot, but then gradualy gets worse until I reboot
the machine.
Another note I forgot to add is that this only happens with the
gallery2 application, none of the custom php/mysql scripts I have
written have this problem.
The PHP language has many facilities and it's perfectly possible to
write some
pages which will consume lots of CPU and others which won't. Before you
posted
the above, I would have suggested at few PHP commands to try to see what was
eating your resources.
But now you've pretty-much isolated the problem to gallery2, so I think that
only people with gallery2 will be able to help you. Maybe they have a
support
forum for just that product.
