Be aware that there is a long standing defect (since 12-March-2004)
where running the Disk Utility -> Repair Disk Permission function
will break MailMan. The TIL article has a workaround:
I dont want to restrict sending to anyone on the list.
What I want to stop is that if someone form OUTSIDE my network
sends a mail to that alias it doesn't get sent out again to the
people contained in that alias.
Yeah, it's just much easier to do with a mailing list package.
You can do things like "only accept mails from email@hidden"
and even hide the fact that it is a list at all, or moderate
whether other people's postings get sent, etc...
