I'll second that emotion... The Support Essentials is very clean and easy to read, and I have already used Schoun's book as a reference guide in dealing with Tiger Server, but I have yet to read completely through it. Having sat through some of Schoun's classes, I expect nothing less than excellence though.

We got a couple of the Mac OS X Server Essentials in last week along with the Mac OS X Support Essentials book. It's pretty good so far, I haven't read through it all yet. Very clean layout and well designed.

Yeah, I bought those also a few weeks ago. Very well-written. The Server Essentials covers mostly basic configuration, but I did learn a lot little things that make administration easier. The extra stuff on ARD, etc. was useful also. I'm going to be taking my test sometime in the next few weeks. I'm confident the book will have me well prepared.

I wish there was an advanced book though. I'd like to see something with more in-depth coverage of OpenDirectory, Mail, etc.
