searching a website

I need to setup content searching on a 10.3 web server. I followed the minimal instructions in the web guide

I have an .FBCIndex file I created in my website directory and it has data.

I launch the website with the sherlock at the end of the URL

I get the search field.

When I try to search for anything I get Missing file: 'template.sherlock'

Anyone have any ideas?
