Re: map to something below a share

IS it possible for when a share is mapped, that it goes right to one of the subfolder that is NOT shared? The root is shared, (Projects), but depending on the user, we would like it to drill down to their project folder, and not have to create a share for each subproject folder to do this (for security reasons as well).

It's not normal to deal with the problem this way. Your users shouldn't be worrying about the share itself. Give your users aliases to the folders they should be looking at (presumably the project folders) and let them click these when they want the project files. Only /you/ should know that these are actually aliases to subfolders of a sharepoint.
