I am a photographer and will be putting into production use on the 10th. The reason is because it has a utility to rename files as they are downloaded from a camera. This will match Windows scanner and camera gizmo that allows you to download files from the camera eg IMGP1234.JPG and rename them MyDog0.jpg

Apparently in Tiger there is a similar utility. It is either this
or switch to windows.

Along with the new look of 10.4 server, it appears that additional features have been added to just about every management module and while some are self explanatory, others had me reading the manual trying to figure out what does what and what not to do.


I can see this leading to a crashing experience if you enter incorrect information and click save

Like the changes in server management apps from 10.2 to 10.3, the transition from 10.3 to 10.4 is going to take a little getting used to.
