Re: IMAP and PHP and now Perl

Nigel,

Thanks for your response- I was hoping there was a way to just "enable" it, but did the install from entropy as you suggested and made the change to the php module location in apache. Maybe you know a solution to another problem I have had with the same install. While trying to "make install" i get the following error,

DynaLoader object version 1.04 does not match $DynaLoader::VERSION 1.43 at /System/Library/Perl/5.8.1/darwin-thread-multi-2level/ DynaLoader.pm line 105.

Again, through everything I could find, it seemed as though the only solution was to reinstall perl. Interestingly, I tried to set the same thing up on a fresh G5 xServe running 10.3.9 and had the same issue. So I downloaded the same version of perl that I am currently running- so as not to upset the delicate balance of [nearly] everything working. I ran perl Makefile.pl and got the following,

Please tell me where I can find your apache src
[ ]

for the life of me, I can not locate the src files for apache on my server, running 10.3.9. I have run into this dynaloader error before, but was not critical so I moved on.

Any solutions to the dynaloader error, or on where the src files are for apache so I can reinstall Perl would be most appreciated.

Dale- what makes me almost fall down laughing is that you have nothing better to do than to respond to a list with absolutely nothing constructive to say, topped off with bad grammar ("cause I'd have a hard time to stop laughing"). And though my question may have seemed simple-minded to a mental giant such as yourself, a question in any form is better than a foolish answer.
