No, user licensing has to do with how many users a host can service.
You want an multi-system license. That is if you have ten machines you
have ten systems to license. How many users those host are a different
question.
slightly incorrect Dan. according to apple server tech support, it's how many concurrent users can have files open on the server
if you're going to have 10 people or less max have files open on your server, you have no problems.
if you have 11 people, number 11 will have to wait until one of the other ten log out of the server or close all their server files.
Since I have my main machine serve games for mom's computer to play, i needed the server and since it's less than 10, i got the 10 user license.
heck, it'd probably be cheaper buying her a new hard drive but since the money's spent...
