I have everything up and running (finally) except for the automatic creation of the physical directory to connect the H: drive to. Samba will automatically try to connect an incoming share request to a designated location on the servers hard drive if there is a [homes] section, but it will only do so if there is already a preexisting directory. Unlike requests for profiles, it wont automatically create the necessary directory for the [homes] share. If your homes are stored on an Apple server then just define the homes in the user record and then use createhomedir to pre-populate them all in one shot. Josh |
