I believe this involves the Finder and .mac and DNS.
Before I go dig up what I think is a big mess...
Is this system connected to the Internet or is this a private (ie 10.x or
172.16.x or 192.168.x) network that has no access to the Internet?
Are there manual entries in the client DNS pane? Does DHCP pass them down?
If Internet access is there, is there a firewall?
