On the server itself, run /Applications/Utilities/Directory Access
Select LDAPv3, and then the authentication tab, and ensure that you see
/LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 (probably listed after local NetInfo)
Try running the following, on a client machine (not the server itself) in
the Terminal:
ldapsearch -h ip.ofyour.server -x -b cn=users,dc=servername,dc=com
Where your server's name is of course "servername.com"
- you might need to use: cn=users,dc=machinename,dc=zonename,dc=com (or net
or org, as the case may be)
This should return info about all users on the server.
