It does require another partition/disk.


I can't wait for a guru like Dan Shoop to get his hands on Time Machine to give it a real spin!

Even if its not ZFS, it may make the AFP548.com article titled,

moot. Nothing against the efforts of the author of that article, but as the author admitted, faking filesystem snapshots on OS X is non-trivial.
