Searching a XServer

XServer X.4.7, 4 gigs memory. Client Dual Mirrored G4 1 gig memory, running X.4.7
When the user trys to search on the server she gets no results. Can search her hard drive fine.
Is computer specific, others can do this no problem, she can go to another mac and do it no problem. Was just wondering if it's some prefs problem on the client end, thanks Wayne.
