I predict a Serial SCSI XRAID coming down the line soon.

No they do not have one announced at present....  Because of the two drive architectures I guess it makes it a bit more complex BTO process....

One other thing I noticed about the Xeon Xserves is the option of a 750GB SATA HDD.

Too bad they don't make them for Xserve RAIDs :-)

The storage options look really cool. The addition of Serial Attached SCSI drive modules could be really nice in some applications. The weird part is that the spec page lists the (to be) available CTO expansion cards, and there's nothing about hardware RAID. I can't find any reference to RAID in the specs at all. Perhaps there's an onboard controller. Anyone at WWDC want to bug an Apple rep and find out?

I'll bug someone tomorrow, as a few of us were having a chat and just realised the same thing.
