I am trying to figure out how to load balance several services across 2 G5 servers. Then main services are Radmind, NetBoot, and workgroup management. I need these services to have the ability to fail over to one of the servers if the other one fails. Would a cluster be the way to go on this and if so, do I need to purchase the servers designed specifically for a cluster? I am finding out that when 25 desktops hit the NetBoot at one time, there is always around 5 that will fail. I only use NetBoot to image the computers and pull my image from apache running on the server. I will be joining our servers to our fiber-channel SAN.
