Upon further RTFMing I came up with:

perl /Library/WebServer/awstats/tools/awstats_buildstaticpages.pl -awstatsprog=/Library/WebServer/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -config=www.tarantulaspiders.com -update -dir=/Users/ts_tgearheart/Sites/stats/
