panic with vnode_put still not solved with 10.4.7?

Hello!

Since one week one of my customers with quad G5 is experiencing the vnode_put panic again!

I thought this bug was fixed with 10.4.5 or 10.4.6.
The panic.log starts at the 02/10/06 and the last panic was yesterday. During this time this machine had 37 panics - 3 were related to bad RAM - but 34 were vnode_put related.
The system was 10.4.4, 10.4.5 and now 10.4.7.

I filed two bug reports at bugreport.apple.com but if i remember right they were removed silently from my bug list. I just got two emails "After further ....this a known issue..." thats all.

AFAIK this is a bug with file locking and there is a known solution to this problem - have to build my own kernel :-(
Why is the known patch not included into the darwin source code?

Where can I get the kernel tools for ppc?
or how can i build a ppc kernel on my x86-MacBook Pro?

Maybe not the right list, but every hint is welcome, bye
Christoph
