Sometimes CCC is just the ticket, but most times, I boot from an
external drive, CD, or DVD, drop into Terminal and run this command:
FWIW, Mike Bombich has said several times that you should use his
NetRestore over CCC for stuff like this. He's also said that CCC was
never intended for server use.
He wrote it a long time ago and it does things in rather odd ways...
