Re: OT True PostScript Printer suggestions

I wouldn't recommend Xante. I learned over the years that good, convenient, customer service is just as valuable as the printer is and you will not get on-site support from Xante, even if they say you will. It will all be over the phone till the bitter end. I think it's best to go with a printer you can get support and consumables from locally. Plus, all Xante does is re-brand OEM products. CL30 = Okidata C7000, Ilumina = Xerox Phaser. Do get me wrong, my 3 year-old CL30 prints great when it's at 100%, but because of no local tech support, I'd never buy a Xante again.

Yo Listers!!!
This is a little off topic but I've seen it discussed on he list before. We have a graphics department that needs a true postscript printer, not an emulation like the HP 5100's they are currently using. I would like to get some input from the list about actual postscript printers that they use and their level of satisfaction.
TIA
