We have a Xerox Phaser 6200DP which I think we got used (yes, we're
cheap here - at least that's the intent of many around here who don't
think things through too well...) in order to replace an army of inkjet
printers (where the operating costs are insane) with one color laser
printer. It is true PostScript, and works great, but beware! The toner
cartridges cost an arm and a leg! Maybe that's because this is an older
printer, I don't know. But in any case, before settling in on a choice,
I would definitely look into the toner prices for each model you're
considering if money is worth anything to your company. If it isn't, I
can give you my mailing address and you could send me a check...
The main point is that we might have been better off financially if we
had gotten a new, more expensive printer that uses much less expensive
toner cartridges.

Yo Listers!!!
This is a little off topic but I've seen it discussed on he list
before. We have a graphics department that needs a true postscript
printer, not an emulation like the HP 5100's they are currently
using. I would like to get some input from the list about actual
postscript printers that they use and their level of satisfaction.
TIA
