Re: Startup disk almost full?

Well I want to thank all for their responses and I have tried as recommended from this list.
I checked my server this morning and it was almost frozen stopped until I restarted.
I removed all the larger files even though they were below the Gb range.
I used What Size that was nice as I could see more than I could before.
I Have a Cap of 152G, Used 6.32G, and have 146G available. This seems a far cry from disk full.
I assume my only option at this point will be to shut down and a trip to the shop?
Thanks
BJ

Look in /var/log first to see if there is a huge log.

A good tool to use to see where your space has gone is WhatSize

Subject: Startup disk almost full?

I have a G5 duel 1G X2 OS X Server 10.3
I just started getting warning messages that the startup disk is
almost full.
Where and what can I do to resolve this. It is slowing down the
performance.
Thank You,
Billy Jack Dial
