Is Kerberos running? Are you able to recieve a TGT? Can you login

I do no use Kerberos. AFAIK network-homes should work without Kerberos.
What is TGT?

I tried to ignore Kerberos as long as possible ;-)
I have no big (lots of users) installations with a need for Kerberos.
Bye,
Christoph
