I do no use Kerberos. AFAIK network-homes should work without Kerberos.

What is TGT?

TGT means "Ticket-granting ticket", as far as I understand it is a piece of authentication from Kerberos which says you are permitted to request access from kerberos-enable services (e.g. AFP).
