Hello,
As said, I did every thing which was recommended from this group.
I Contacted Apple who advised to switch the problem HD into another server in which I did.
The server that I put the HD in developed the same problem, and the one I took it out of worked just fine. So that leaves me to believe it is a software issue as Apple suggested may have been. To continue support with apple will cost me a arm and leg so I will through out here what I have discovered before I go back to them.
I started to monitor the server with the Activity Monitor and noticed that under "Disk Activity" that the Data out constantly climbs until it reached 148.11 GB and then I got the Startup disk almost full.
What is this Data out?
Thanks
BJ
What kind of services is your server running? FTP, DHCP, AFP etc? The most logical thing (to me at least) is that you have an incorrectly-configured service that is generating log files non-stop indicating there's some kind of problem, but that's just a guess on my part.
The long way around fixing this is to boot the machine, and start shutting down services/processes while you watch Activity Monitor -- in theory, you'll be able to identify the problem process by trial & error of waiting for the disk activity to stop as you kill processes.
Have you tried downloading the "WhatSize" software that Mark Spidle suggested? I bet if you could find the directory where all the free space was disappearing into, us listers could help you identify the problem. Once you found the offending file, you could use the 'lsof' command to see what processes are writing to the file.

Well I want to thank all for their responses and I have tried as recommended from this list.I checked my server this morning and it was almost frozen stopped until I restarted.
I removed all the larger files even though they were below the Gb range.
I used What Size that was nice as I could see more than I could before.
I Have a Cap of 152G, Used 6.32G, and have 146G available. This seems a far cry from disk full.
I assume my only option at this point will be to shut down and a trip to the shop?
Thanks

Look in /var/log first to see if there is a huge log.
A good tool to use to see where your space has gone is WhatSize

Subject: Startup disk almost full?
I have a G5 duel 1G X2 OS X Server 10.3
I just started getting warning messages that the startup disk is
almost full.
Where and what can I do to resolve this. It is slowing down the
performance.
Thank You,
