The poster has a point though. There is a certain attitude that spam, like junkmail, is "just a way of life". This is poppycock. Neither mail or email were designed for mounds of unsolicited junk that is destroying the internet and our planet. If people get off their butts and take affirmative steps to voice displeasure at their existence, more will be done to at all levels to work against them. Email is a personal communication. If people expect a level of <gasp>privacy</gasp>, they are somewhat justified. What about children with email accounts? Should they be subjected to such things?

Any Futurama fans here?
