Don't get me wrong, I do not bill for 98% of phone tech support for non clients and clients. I have many many friends that I do not charge. But when I am on the phone and give specific advise and it is not heeded, yes I bill. Currently I have over 700 + clients.
sounds like a nice setup. I just never had the patience for the marketing and client acquisition work that consultants have to deal with.
