It has been suggested to run a permissions check before and/or after an upgrade to Mac OS X Server. I would assume this would mean booting off the Server CD and running the permissions check from there when scanning a boot volume. I am wondering if this is in fact still valid after several upgrades? For example, lets say my CD is version 10.4.1 and I am running 10.4.6. Is booting off a 10.4.1 CD and running permissions checks a good idea if the boot volume has been updated? Some of those updates are huge and clearly are making some large changes. -brad _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
