Howdy all,
A quick question, if you'll indulge me:
Is there any way for Solaris hosts to bind to an Open
Directory master
and retain NIS services as a backup WITHOUT changing
the actual NIS
domain name?
Come to think of it, how DOES one determine the
"domain name" of an OD
master? Sun's ldapclient requires an /etc/domainname
"matching" your
auth master.
