At 1:56 PM -0700 3/17/06, Marconi sent email regarding Apache <IfDefine SSL>:
What 'defines' SSL such that <IfDefine SSL> will evaluate to true?
From the httpd man page:
-D parameter
Sets a configuration parameter which can be used with
<IfDefine>...</IfDefine> sections in the configuration
files to conditionally skip or process commands.
So, starting httpd with:
/usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -DSSL
not only starts httpd, but 'Defines' SSL.
