Is there anyway to cache the credentials for a local home folder AD login?
One of my clients has a flaky domain controller!

In the AD plugin, turn on mobile accounts. But they will have to authenticate atleast once to AD so the credentials get cached. Otherwise, you would have to either take that machine off of the domain and create a local user (chown the home dir for new account) or create a local account for them and move their files until AD is fixed.
