You can do this with Apple Remote Desktop using the copy command and copying the following to the same relative location on the clients:

/etc/cups/printers.conf

/etc/cups/ppd

You will need to restart the clients once you have done this.

Can someone direct me to the thread about how to push printers out to
a group of Macs? I know I saw it here somewhere. I am getting a
gazillion hits. We are switching a whole group of printers over to a
virtual lan and I want to knock this out in one fell swoop.
