Re: BRU, tape drives and XServe

As I thought, you have no proof for your position. Not that I cared, and, as a minor point, it was YOU who started this back up with your OMGFIVEDAYSNOPROOF post. Everyone else, including me had let it drop, so don't start whining now that it's not turning out the way you wanted.

Either supply definite proof of every claim you've made in this thread or STFU and let it drop...AGAIN.

Besides, I've just been addressing the tangents *you* went on with
your replies. My initial reply merely stated that AFAICS FileVault
does on-the-fly encryption. Which apparently - for reasons unknown to
me - blew a fuse with you.

No, it's your insistence in getting the last word.

My "insistence in getting the last word" showed in my first reply in this thread? ROTFL.

fine. Prove it. Prove, without doubt, that every single write in a FV
environment is encrypted. You said you're willing to do this. "It's
obvious" won't count, nor will "logically".

*sigh*

You really don't get it, do you? I'm not arguing that nothing could ever
leak out of a FileVault, and never was. In fact, I've been asking for
locations where such leakage might (reasonably) occur (after *you*
brought up that subject), because that's something I may have to deal
with. However, you'll obviously rather continue attacking me than answer
my questions in an at least halfway professional manner, so I'll be
investigating the subject on my own and excuse myself from this
argument. Sorry to everyone else for the commotion.
