Hello, fellow Apple Admins! We're currently looking at putting some heavy-duty spam protection onto our G4 Xserve in the form of the Tagged Message Delivery Agent (TMDA, http://tmda.net). What I'd like to know is if anyone else has gone this route and set it up successfully, how painful it was, and whether or not this is even a sane idea. I've found precious few resources on the ol' Interweb about this, and Apple doesn't seem to be adding anything of the sort to Leopard. We'd also like to use TMDA-CGI to allow our users to administer their own blacklist/whitelist settings; I assume that there should be no trouble running it with Apple's Apache, but if anyone knows otherwise, please do tell. :-) Thanks! Fred Alger your friendly local system administrator @: email@hidden |
