I'm not able to access network home directories if i set the password
type to Open Directory.
if i change it to crypt, it works.
if i look at Server Admin's Open Directory settings Overview, i see
lookup Server is Running
Netinfo Server is Local Only
LDAP Server is Running
Password Server is Running
Kerberos is Running
Server is: Tiger Server 10.4.8 on Dual-Core Intel Xeon
any help much appreciated.
many thanks,
enrico
