I don't know what gave you the idea I wouldn't understand how split
horizon works. I do. And I am very well aware of the fact that split
horizon does solve the problem. However, for some reason you obviously
fail to understand that it solves a problem that SHOULD NOT EXIST in the
first place.
I'll rephrase my question: why can't OS X use a perfectly working DNS
where the PTR records are provided by some other nameserver?
