It would seem more sensible that since the OS is working that you
wouldn't blow it away but instead focus on getting "web services"
working.
You may want to look at your log files for tell-tale clues as to why
it's failing. The system log files and apache log files are good
places to start.
`apachectl configtest` should tell you if there's a problem with the
configuration files for apache but more th
You might also want to check to see if there's something else now
using it's port(s). For this lsof can tell you what's open and by
whom.
