What does clamav have to do with web services???
What third party software are you referring too???
It shouldn't prevent the web service from starting up cause under
normal circumstances it isn't associated with apache.
I provide a couple of PHP distro's (5.1.6, 5.2.0 and 6.0.0) as PHP on
steroids which includes my clamav extension because the original
php_clam extension doesn't work properly, isn't PHP 5 or PHP 6 API
compliant/compatible and has too many code issues making it a non-
desirable extension unless you rewrite it or obtain a better version
of it and this older extension would be the only thing that would
cause the clamav software to prevent apache from starting up.
The question: can OS X Server 10.4 be re-installed in a repair
mode, rather than blow away the entire disk?
TIA,
Jonathan
